Zoning Ordinance
As of March 31, 2013, the Village has full control of zoning outside of shore-land areas, which will still be under Winnebago County zoning restrictions. The Community Development Department and the Village Planning Commission have worked very hard to create a Zoning Ordinance that implements the goals, objectives, and policies of the Villages Comprehensive Plan; that establishes clear and consistent standards, regulations, and procedures for the review of proposed development within the Village; and that establishes minimum standards for the sustainable use of land.
