The Planning and Zoning Division prepares, implements, and updates current and long range village plans, meets with the public regarding proposed neighborhood and community plans, and coordinates planning activities with those of neighboring communities. The division provides staff assistance to the Planning Commission and to the Village Sustainability Committee, and does a substantial amount of work in the area of economic development.
