Although we do want you to be comfortable while on the ride-along, we must emphasize that this is a professional police department and your clothing should reflect that. If the ride-along is approved, appropriate business casual clothing will be required.
What is business casual clothing?
- Polo type shirts
- Jeans (no holes or cuts – in good condition)
- Khaki slacks/trousers
- Dress or tennis shoes in good condition
- Dress slacks/trousers
- Button up dress shirts/blouses
- No hats
- No jewelry (necklaces or chains worn outside of clothing; no body piercing)
When in doubt, please ask by contacting Sergeant Christopher Brandt at 920-720-7109.
Please remember if the officer finds that the clothing you have worn does not represent the professionalism of the organization, he/she may ask that you reschedule the ride-along.
