Requirements of Application:
All permits shall be issued by the fire department. A completed Permit Application must be submitted with a check for the permit fees, and
three sets of plans and supporting documentation as required by code. After review, the fire department will stamp all plans
‘CONDITIONALLY APPROVED’ and return two sets of plans and supporting documentation with the permit to the project proponent. One
set of stamped plans should be present on the project site throughout the installation process.
All permitted installation projects are subject to inspection by the Fox Crossing Fire Department before and at the time of final inspection for
issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy. Conditions of issuing the Certificate of Occupancy is compliance with all provisions of the
prevailing national, state or local municipality codes or ordinances for installation of systems including certification documentation,
acceptance tests and inspections.
Permits are required for the installation or modification of a of the identified fire protection or tank systems. Maintenance performed in
accordance with the code is not considered a modification and does not require a permit.
