Our police department can offer a variety of presentations tailored to address community needs and interests. Target audiences that can benefit from these discussions are business staff, school faculty, youth groups, residents of assisted living facilities, and other organizations’ memberships. Typically, our Community Liaison Offer handles most of the presentations, but occasionally receives assistance from other officers on specific topics. Some common presentations include:

1. Crime Prevention: Covering tips and strategies for preventing various types of crime, including burglary, theft, vandalism, and personal safety.
2. Community Policing Initiatives: Explaining how the police department engages with the community through programs such as neighborhood watch, citizen patrols, and community outreach events.
3. Emergency Preparedness: Offering guidance on how individuals and communities can prepare for and respond to emergencies such as natural disasters, active shooter situations, or terrorist threats.
4. Drug Awareness and Prevention: Educating the community about the dangers of drug abuse, identifying signs of drug activity, and offering resources for prevention and rehabilitation.
