Fritse Park

FRITSE PARK AND THE RYDELL CONSERVANCY
Fritse Park is a 15.26 acre park located on the western shore of Little Lake Butte des Morts. Existing facilities at this site include a boat launch, universally accessible kayak launch, kayak rentals, boat wash station, picnic tables, playground equipment (including the famous hill slide), year-round restrooms and a sledding hill. The park is part of the Loop the Lake Trail and hosts the western trailhead for the Fox Cities Trestle-Friendship Trail connecting the Village of Fox Crossing to the City of Menasha. The Rydell Conservancy is located right next to Fritse Park and is a natural area with walking trails, ponds and benches overlooking Little Lake Butte des Morts.

FRITSE PARK BOAT TRAILER FEES Any boat trailer, attached or detached to/from a vehicle must display an Annual or Daily Boat Trailer Parking Permit. Permit fees are as follows:
  • Daily Permit Fee – $4.00
  • Resident Annual Permit Fee – $15.00
  • Senior (55+) Resident Annual Permit Fee – $13.00
  • Non-Resident Annual Permit Fee – $30.00
  • Daily permits may be purchased through the self-registration station located at Fritse Park. They will be valid during the day of purchase only. Annual permits are valid January 1, through December 31, of the year of issuance and are available to purchase during regular business hours in the Parks and Recreation Office.
    KAYAK RENTALS AVAILABLE Single-rider kayak rentals are available at Fritse Park. Users can rent kayaks via the Rent.Fun app on their smartphone. Rental includes kayak, paddle and life vest.
    • $20 for up to a 2 hour rental
    • $10 for each additional hour
