Public Education

Public education and community risk reduction are at the top of the Fire Department’s priorities. We pride ourselves in having a great community relationships through our educational programs. As the head of the Public education and community outreach I work in a team of Fire Department members that are invested in the community to provide the highest quality of education and outreach to all the stakeholders of the community.

Safe Kids
Safe Kids USA is a nationwide network of organizations working to prevent unintentional childhood injury, the leading cause of death and disability for children ages 1 to 14. We educate families, provide safety devices to families in need and advocate for better laws to help keep children safe, healthy and out of the emergency room.

If your community group or family would like to come and tour one of your fire stations, please call 920-720-7133

Request an Engine to your event:
Are you looking to have a FCFD engine at your party or community event? We are able to bring an engine out for an engine visit and share a safety message to your group.

Child passenger seat inspection:
Fox Crossing Fire Department has certified Car Seat Technicians on staff to safely install your car seat and answer all of your car seat questions that you may have. Please schedule an appointment at 920-720-7133

Smoke Detector installation:
With a partnership though the American Red Cross the Fox Crossing Fire Department will install brand new 10 year smoke detectors in your home FREE of charge. Please contact us to set up an appointment at 920-720-7133
