Winnebago County Tornado Event Information and Resources
Water Advisory:
- A Boil Advistory (Ended):
- The Boil Water Order has ENDED.
- Please continue to conserve water for the next seven days, to allow system pressure and storage facilities to continue to recover as well as reduce risk of water loss from potential water leaks.
- If the water remains cloudy or discolored after flushing, if you notice a leak, or for further information, please contact Fox Crossing Utilities at (920) 720-7175 or [email protected].
- For health-related questions, please contact the Winnebago County Public Health Department at (920) 232-3000.
- Water Boil Advisory – What To Do (Has Ended):
Do not drink tap water without boiling it first. Low water pressure after the storm may have allowed contamination.
- Bring water to a rolling boil for one full minute, then let it cool. Store it covered in a clean container.
- Bottled water is safe and needs no treatment.
- Boil or use bottled water for: drinking, ice, brushing teeth, washing produce, cooking, baby formula, and pet water.
- Tap water is fine for showering, bathing (avoid swallowing), handwashing with soap, and laundry.
- Please conserve water overall — both communities are drawing from Neenah’s system while local plants are down.
- Keep boiling until officials announce the advisory is lifted publicly.
Curfew:
- A city-wide curfew is in effect for the Village of Fox Crossing and the City of Menasha.
- Hours: 10:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
- The curfew remains in effect until further notice.
