II. Clayton Avenue Sewer and Water Extension

This project will extend public sanitary sewer and water along Clayton Avenue from Shady Lane to approximately a half mile north of Shady Lane. The purpose of this project is to have public sanitary sewer and water available for proposed and future development projects in the Village. Additionally, a stormwater culvert just north of Shady Lane is in poor shape and will be replaced.
Clayton Avenue will be CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC between Shady Lane and Wrenwood Lane. Local traffic will still be able to access their property in this area. Vehicles are recommended to use Irish Road or STH 76 for detours.
Contractor: Jossart Brothers
Anticipated Start Date: April 9, 2025
Anticipated Completion Date: Late June 2025
III. Margeo Stormwater Pond and Utility Construction

This project is considered to be the largest project of the 2025 construction season for the Village and will consist of two concurrent parts:
- Constructing a new stormwater retention pond at the northwest corner of CTH CB and Winchester Road (CTH II).
- Relaying sanitary sewer main and water main as well as installing some storm sewer in the Margeo Acres East Subdivision.
The purpose of the stormwater retention pond is to assist the Village with long-term Municipal Stormwater Permit compliance with the Wisconsin DNR and assist the Village with meeting stormwater regulations for reconstruction of Irish Road, which is anticipated to be done in 2027.
For the Utility Construction, sanitary sewer and water main will be replaced in the subdivision due to aging infrastructure. Additionally, storm sewer will be installed out to Irish Road in anticipation of the Irish Road Reconstruction project.

Storm sewer piping and inlet structures will also be replaced with the project. The finished road will be a 2-lane road, with 14-foot driving lanes and 6-foot shoulders.
2-way traffic is anticipated to be maintained as part of this project. It is possible that the railroad may be reconstructing the Winchester Road crossing around the same time as this project, but a schedule has not been confirmed with the railroad yet.
