Tax Bills
Tax bills are typically mailed around the middle of December. The exact date of mailing will fluctuate from year to year. Once the tax bills are printed, the Winnebago County properties are available online here. Outagamie County Parcels can be found here. Property Tax Collection – Winnebago County Properties
Payment Procedure
The Village of Fox Crossing allows payment of property taxes in up to two (2) installments. Payment in Full or the First Installment of the 2024 property taxes is due by January 31st and collected by the Village of Fox Crossing. Community First Credit Union has partnered with the Village to offer you additional options to make the first installment or payment in full. The Second Installment (or any payments made after January 31st) is collected by Winnebago County.

Second Installment
Due by: July 31, 2025
The Village of Fox Crossing cannot accept Second Installment Payments, or any payment after January 31st.
Payments can be made in person or via mail to the Winnebago County Treasurer.

Property Tax Collection – Outagamie County Properties
Similar to how taxes are processed in Winnebago County, the first installment is due January 31, 2025 and can be mailed or dropped off at the Municipal Complex.

If you do not have a Lottery & Gaming credit on your tax bill you may still be eligible! Hurry, complete the credit form linked below and return with your payment prior to January 31, 2025.
To Qualify: You must own a home in Wisconsin and Your home must have been occupied as a PRIMARY residence on January 1, 2024.
A primary residence is the home in which a property owner lives for more than six months of the year. If temporarily away, a primary residence is the home to which the owner returns.
Receipts
Receipts will be dated the date on which the monies are physically received at the Treasurer’s office. If you require a receipt, you must enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope along with your tax bill and payment. A receipt will NOT be provided unless a self-addressed, stamped envelope is included.
Depository Box
There is a depository box at the Village of Fox Crossing Municipal Complex just left of the main entrance. This box can be used at anytime, but is especially convenient for before and after regular office hours. The box is opened and emptied daily Monday through Friday at 8:00 a.m. Collections will be dated the date they are received.
Cash Payments
The Village of Fox Crossing will not be accepting cash payments at the Municipal Complex. Payment should be by check or money order payable to the Village of Fox Crossing Treasurer. Cash payments are accepted at Community First Credit Union.
Credit Card Payments
To pay property taxes by Credit or Debit Card using your phone or internet go to AllPaid. Service fees apply as listed on the payment website.
Refunds
No refund is given unless payment is over the full tax bill amount. There are NO CASH REFUNDS over $15, if paid at the Municipal Complex. Refund checks will be issued within seven (7) to ten (10) business days. Community First Credit Union will issue cashier check refunds immediately, for payments over the full tax bill, payable to the parties on the escrow check!
