Sustainability Committee Opening

The Village of Fox Crossing Sustainability Committee has openings for new members. The committee meets one time per month, on the first Wednesday of the month. Meetings last approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the agenda topics.

Sustainability is the practice of using resources in a way that meets present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. It balances environmental health, economic prosperity, and social equality to insure long-term viability for people and the planet.

The committee is looking for community members who have a passion for sustainability issues, who are willing to commit to one meeting a month, who are willing and able to participate in topical discussions, hands on events and bring a spirit of advocacy to our committee.
