A sanitary sewer overflow occurred in the Village of Fox Crossing on April 14-16, 2026.  The overflow occurred at the intersections of Brighton Beach Road and Plank Road, Manitowoc Rd, N Lake St and County Road II.

A high amount of clear water inflow was experienced due to large amounts of rain and saturated soils.  The village utility personnel responded to, monitored and managed the incidents to limit harm to the public, residential property and the environment.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has been notified.  Pursuant to the requirement of NR 210, this notice is being issued regarding this event.

The Village of Fox Crossing continues to make improvements to the sanitary sewer system to reduce the potential for these incidents.  Residents are also reminded to make sure that sump pumps are not connected to the sanitary sewer system.  This will assist in reducing the clear water flow into the sanitary sewer system, thereby reducing the potential for these incidents.
